Birdwatching Safaris in Uganda

BIRD WATCHING SAFARIS

You have probably read somewhere that Uganda is the pearl of Africa, otherwise the 1,000 bird species in such a small country would not be here.

In almost every part of Uganda, there ia s bird to see. Be it the city parks, the forests, wetlands, name it, you can do some birdwatching safaris.

But the concentration of wildlife birds in the national parks and the wetlands. Visit the Mabamba wetlands for the shoebill stork. There are many forest birds in Bwindi National Park and Mgahinga. Other places include Budongo forest, Mabira Forest and so much more.

A birding tour to be rewarding should take you a minimum of 7 days but you can stretch it even to 30 days.

Among the equipment to take should include the binoculars, trekking boots and so much more.
