Birding in Mabamba and Mpanga forest.

Day One;
In the morning after breakfast transfer to Mabamba island to go search for the rare shoe bill. You will ride on a dung out canoe to go deep in the wetland to try and find the rare shoebill and other bird species such as the Madagascar bee-eater, Malachite and pied Kingfishers, great white pelicans, Grey –headed Negrofinch, African Pied hornbills, Carruther’s cisticola, Hottentot Teal, Yellow billed egret, Fire crested Alethe, Toro Olive Greenbul, white winged terns, Sooty Boubou, and papyrus Gonolek and many others. You will later on transfer to Mpanga forest for a nature walk to search for some forest birds before you drive back to Kampala.
