4 Days Birding tour in Murchison Falls National park

Day One; Drive to Murchison falls National Park.
In the morning at 7:30 am you will drive to Murchison falls national park. The drive will take you about 7 hours to reach the park in the late afternoon. You will stop in Masindi for lunch and then hike down the falls to before you proceed to your hotel. This hike is rewarding as you might spot afew birds such as the Pel’s Fletcher, Red winged grey warbler, and chestnut crowned owls. You will take afew photos at the falls and then transfer to Your hotel. Over Night at Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya river lodge.

Day Two; Whole day birding in Murchison Falls Uganda safari .
Very early in the morning you will drive through the park searching for the nocturnal birds and predators. You will retire from the drive at 7:30 am and then have breakfast to prepare for the morning boat ride as it is more rewarding when it comes to both birds and animals. You will then go for a 2 hours boat ride starting at 9:00a m. We advise you to make use of the left side of the boat as it is more rewarding. The launch will reward you with birds like the Goliath Herons, Egyptian Geese, African Skimmer and pied Kingfisher and many more standing and playing on the backs of the buffaloes, crocodiles and hippos. They are exhilarating. After the launch you will return to the lodge for lunch before you head on through the park for the afternoon bird search. Overnight at Paraa Safari lodge./ Sambiya river lodge / Red chilies lodge.

Day Three; Whole day birding.
On this day walk / drive along the Victoria Nile track and the Albert Nile track searching for the different birds the park has to offer. You will carry packed lunch to save you the time of going back to the lodge for lunch. Spend the whole day in the wilderness searching for some of the best birds the park has to offer. Note; You can also spot the rare shoe bill in this sector. Blue breasted bee eater, swamp flycatcher, white bellied are some of the other birds that you can spot. . Overnight at Paraa Safari lodge./ Sambiya river lodge / Red chilies lodge.

Day Four;
In the morning you will wake up before sunrise to go search for more nocturnal avifauna before you drive back to Kampala. After the walk/ drive you will return to your lodge for breakfast and then park your bags to drive back to Kampala reaching in the evening.
