4 Days Gorilla and rafting tour

 

Day One: Rafting Uganda safari
In the morning you will transfer to Jinja to go Rafting. After rafting
you will drive back to Kampala. Overnight at Sheraton hotel / cassia lodge/ holiday express/ tourists hotel.

Day Two: Head to Bwindi
In the morning you will have breakfast to drive south-west of Uganda. You will have stop at the equator for photographs, and in Mbarara for lunch. The journey will take you through large banana plantations, papyrus woodland, and terraced landscapes of the “Switzerland of Africa”. It takes about 9 hours to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. You will then go for a walk in the surrounding communities. Overnight at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma community Bandas.

Day Three: Gorilla tracking.
Proceeding breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the whole hike. After the briefing you will set off through the thick forest in search for the humble giant primates. You will hike up and down through steep slopes which become too steep during the rainy season and later on you will encounter the Gorillas. The time taken to meet these gorillas is unpredictable and it varies from 2 -9 hours however the Chances of seeing them is high. The whole process is hectic however if you encounter the Giant apes and spend some time with them you will not regret your efforts. After spending one hour with the Gorillas you will go back to you lodge. Overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma community Bandas.

Day four: Drive to Kampala.
In the morning you will have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala. You will stop in one of the towns along the way for lunch and at the equator for photographs. You will then drive to reach Kampala in the evening.
